ASSISTANT PASTOR - Keith Betry
Keith grew up in the Chicagoland area. He was raised in a Christian family that made church a focus of their activities. At the age of 5, Keith came to realize that just attending church was not the most important thing in life. During a Vacation Bible School, he recognized that he was a sinner and needed a Savior to bring him into a relationship with God.
Keith enjoyed the opportunity of being educated in a Christian school and being surrounded by helpful friends in church and the youth group. After entering college to earn a degree in aviation, a summer as a camp counsellor convinced Keith that he needed to give his life to the full-time ministry. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Bible in 1994 and his Master's degree in 1995 from Bob Jones University. He worked for five years in Wisconsin as both a teacher and a staff member of a church.
In April of 2000, Keith came on staff as the assistant and youth pastor. He has been involved in teaching in the school, as well as meeting the needs of the church ministry.
He has been married to Tammy since 1994 and has one daughter, Grace. Outside of the ministry, he enjoys reading, history, aviation, and sports. Presently he is also working on finishing his doctoral dissertation for Northland International University.
