TASCteens

Purpose for TASCteens

The TASCteens program is designed to provide encouragement and accountablity for Christian young people. Today's youth is pummeled by the surrounding world and they are given all sorts of wrong models to follow. TASCteens is designed to give Christian teens a framework and a goal toward which to strive.

Each teen's goal ought to be like Christ. This requires spiritual discipline. Each teen needs to work at developing a relationship with Jesus and, as a result of that relationship, give themselves in ministry for Him. TASCteens aid teenagers in having a relationship and a ministry for Christ.

Methods of TASCteens

• Materials for devotions and memorization of Scripture
  
• Opportunities for regular ministry in church and the community
• Fellowship with other Christian teens through regular activities
• Systematic preaching and teaching through the Bible
• Summer activities such as camp and mission trips
• Competitive events between two teams of teens
  

Timeframe for TASCteens

TASCteens runs from September to May. The teens meet regularyly at 7:00 on Wednesday evenings. At these meetings preaching is a central focus. The teens also bring their TASCteen materials for leaders to examine and then participate in a variety of competitive events.
