The next lesson in our "Confronting the Culture" series is titled, "Humanism". 
(This is the second part of the two-part lesson.)
This part deals with the "Summary of Humanist Doctrine".
The doctrines of the religion of humanism are expressed in the three manifestos
issued in 1933, 1973, and 1980.
If one is going to confront this persuasive religion or philosophy, it is
important you know what they believe.
Even if you've never attended our Sunday School classes before, feel free to
visit and hear what God's Word says about "Humanism". |

Wednesday, January 27, was our annual "Turn Around Day." Students in grades 7-12 were given the chance to work with a teacher and become a teacher for the day. It is great to see our young people working with younger students and preparing to teach. A special lunch was served and enjoyed by all our "young" teachers.   |

Mortgage Burning Ceremony |
|
 In October 2009, we were blessed with the ability to pay off our mortgage. For the first time ever, this ministry is debt-free.
On November 22 we celebrated with current members, former members, and friends from all over the area. About 300 people joined us for a meal and a special afternoon mortgage burning ceremony.
